EMT

The Euler Math Tournament (EMT) is EMC's very own annual math tournament, consisting of individual and team portions. The rules are as follows.

Round 1: Team Round
This is a 10 problem, 25 minute round with each question worth 10 points each to be worked on by a team of at most 6 students.

Round 2: Individual Round
This is a 10 problem, 50 minute round, which is about ARML to HMMT February difficulty.

Round 3: Tiebreaker Round
This round consists of three tiebreaker subrounds, the first 10 minutes long, the second 5 minutes long, and the third 2.5s minute long. This will determine the tiebreaks between the top 10 scorers. 

The 2023 EMT will be on October 15, 2023 from 1:30 PM PST to 5:00 PM PST.
