Major update! The registration and submission deadlines have been moved to July 24!
Registration
You can register at the Google form on the right until July 24. The contest will run starting June 11, 2023 and until July 25, 2023, at 3:00 AM EST.
Contest Rules
The EIME is a mock AIME with the following rules:
3 hours, 15 problems, 1 point per correct answer, 0 points for incorrect answers;
All answers are from 0 to 999, inclusive. Leading 0's are supposed to be added in answers if they have less than 3 digits;
No calculators, protractors, or related computational instruments (such as the web) are allowed.
This year the contest will be taken on the following link: https://form-timer.com/start/dcdc6198. Start the test only after you have registered; otherwise, you will not be able to see the problems. The timer will be for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Use the extra 15 minutes only if you run into any technical challenges or related issues. The problem difficulty is intended to be similar to that of the AIME, but do not be surprised if you find them more challenging!
Results and Awards
After the designated contest frame is over, we will post the names of the top 20 scorers on our website.
We would like to thank Wolfram for sponsoring a Wolfram|Alpha Notebook Edition for each of the top 3 participants, and to Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) for sponsoring a $25 AoPS coupon for 4th to 7th places.
Problems and Solutions
We will post problems and solutions in a pdf file on our website and on this post. You can find the discussion forum for this test here. The forum is locked right now, and will be unlocked after the contest is over.
