Web Platforms
RGB vs. CMYK
A basic understanding of the different uses and applications of RGB vs. CMYK color profiles is essential in many industries related to print production and digital media creation. A simple instructional website was a good choice to introduce learners to these concepts.

Fundamental Marching Techniques
An Online Instructional Program for The University of Wyoming Western Thunder Marching Band
When a student is transitioning from a high school marching band to a collegiate level ensemble, there are always differences in the execution and philosophy behind a program’s fundamental marching technique. High school and collegiate groups’ format may vary wildly from the energetic style of the HBCU show bands, to the precision drill maneuvers of a military style band, to the musicianship and conceptual shows of corps style ensembles, and anywhere in between.
One of the challenges for any collegiate ensemble is bringing new members up to speed quickly and efficiently to the standards and differences between the new ensemble and a student’s former high school band.

Fundamental Marching Techniques
An Online Instructional Program for The University of Wyoming Western Thunder Marching Band
The original project contained one of three online modules designed for The University of Wyoming Marching Band. For my program portfolio, I have revised and completed the design of the entire course, expanding the single module to the full course of three online lessons.
Instructional Video
Ohio University Marching Band:
Uniform Wear and Care
In speaking with Dr. Richard Suk, Director of the OUMB, and Mr. Josh Boyer, Assistant Director, it was determined that an instructional video that was easily accessible for all members on the wear and care of the uniform would be beneficial, since the OUMB Uniform Code is very detailed and has some very specific guidelines that may be vastly different from a member’s high school band experience.
