The meeting will take place in compliance with the regulations imposed by the Italian Government. Below we briefly outline the current regulations for travelling to Italy and we will regularly update this section.
It is now possible to travel to Italy using the Digital COVID Certificate, also called the Green Pass. In order to be eligible for the green pass, you need to satisfy one of the following conditions (taken from here):
You have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with one of the vaccines approved by EU. You received your final dose (second or first, depending on the type of vaccine) at least 14 days before crossing the border;
You have recovered from COVID-19 and ended the quarantine period;
You are in possession of a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen or PCR test dating back to less than 48 hours.
The certificate consists of a QR code that you can show via a PDF document or using a country-specific app, or via a printed form. Further information can be found here.
You will also need to fill out the digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF) before arriving to Italy.
Finally, we invite you to take the following survey as recommended by the Italian government.
Current regulations in Italy require that all the people taking part in a conference have to show a valid COVID Certificate (check the previous section to see the eligibility conditions). If you obtained the COVID certificate via a negative test, then you might need to take another test during the conference in order to be able to continue your participation. In this case we will help you to book an appointment in one of the selected centers in Cagliari and, when possible, reimburse you the cost of the test.
If you need to take rapid antigen or a PCR test before returning to your country, there are several options in Cagliari that you can consider. Rapid tests take about 15-20 min to get an answer, while for PCR tests, it generally takes more than 24 hours. We recommend you to plan in advance and book an appointment in accordance with your travel schedule.
