IMPORTANT

Due to the improving situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe , the conference is still expected to take place in person. However, we understand that some participants may not feel comfortable attending in person and therefore, we will also provide the opportunity to attend the conference via Zoom. At the same time, please keep in mind that one of the main goals of the Young Researchers' Meeting is to provide people with chance to meet and get to know one another, so it is strongly recommended that applicants join the meeting in Cagliari if possible. Please check the page travel info to find more information about the current regulations for travelling to Italy.

Since the YRM is an event dedicated to non-permanent researchers who usually have limited financial resources, one of our primary concerns has been to keep the conference fees as low as possible. For those who would like to attend the conference in person, we propose the following options:

• the premium fee of 180 € covers both the conference participation and accommodation as well as lunch, coffee breaks and the social dinner. The accommodation includes shared rooms (2 or 3 people) in one of the hotels located in the city center. If you have any preferences about the people with whom you would like to share a room, please provide the name(s) in the registration form and we will try to allocate the rooms accordingly;

• the special fee of 220 € is for those who would like to apply for a single room and it includes also lunch and coffee breaks and the social dinner . The single rooms are limited and they are meant for those who have a real necessity (to be specified in the registration form). Please apply for this option only if strictly necessary;

• the standard fee of 120 € which still covers the conference participation, lunch and coffee breaks and social dinner. No accommodation is provided by the organization.

The proposed accommodation is meant to cover the entire duration of the meeting: 5 nights, with check-in date on Sep 5th and check-out date on Sep 10th.

NB: accommodation can be provided for up to 40 participants and due to high demand it will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so please register as soon as possible. Priority will be given to those who are applying for a contributed talk.

For those who are interested in the online participation only, the conference is free of charge.

We invite you to submit the abstract for your contributed talk or poster when filling out the registration form. Otherwise you can send it later by email to yrm2020organizers@gmail.com.

Please use this template for the abstract submission and label the document as "Full_name_abstract_talk" or "Full_name_abstract_poster". Abstracts are limited to one page including the title, abstract body, pictures and references.
