Advisor: Ms. Krawczyk, ETHS Music Director
What is Tri-M®?
The Tri-M® Music Honor Society is a program of NAfME (the National Association for Music Education), which focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy. Tri-M® is the only national honor society for student musicians in grades 6-12.
Tri-M® seeks to:
Advocate for the importance and value of music education in shaping the leaders of tomorrow
Highlight the school's music program and establish its credibility within the surrounding community
Positively impact the community through public performances and service projects
Motivate students to take on leadership roles and make a difference in their community
There are currently over 2,100 chapters of Tri-M®, which span across 50 U.S. states and involve more than 84,000 students. Members contribute more than 750,000 service hours in their local communities.
