Available grips for the Gameboy sp are uncomfortable, and I wanted to flex my 3D modeling abilities for fun.
Played around with adding textures to the 3d print.
Added breathable holes.
A billyhook which a friend challenged me to model.
A wall-mount for my Nintendo Switch Dock. The design may be overkill, but I would rather have the dock properly secured than fall over.
I designed the business cards and red earrings.
This was a yarn abrasion concept which I developed.
I found a parameterized knit structure online, and created a parametric line using the given equations. I then extruded a circle along the path to simulate a knit structure. This approach creates a complicated mesh at the yarn level, which would require a supercomputer to simlate small areas of fabrics. Traditional CAD modeling techniques are not fit for modeling fabric properties, instead, larger areal properties of fabrics must be simplified into mesh grids as to reduce computational load.
My first attempt at a woven fabric.
