Allan is a high school physics teacher in Victoria, BC. He has been teaching at the same school for 28 years, 31 years in total, and has been coaching high school and club volleyball for 38 years. He leads a vibrant, dynamic, and innovative science department, which has more to do with his great colleagues than himself. He has been lucky to have coached teams to five high school provincial titles, six club provincial titles, and one national championship. He has co-authored two high school science textbooks for Nelson Education.

Anna is a former vice-head for the international department of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University of Ukraine; an associate professor of the faculty of foreign languages there. Her research interests include the future of higher education, the internationalization of modern universities, and diversity in teaching and learning. She loves fanfiction, cats, and ways of making life easier for everyone. Her dream is to have more time for everything she still wants to explore.
