Sourav Kumar is pursuing Ph.D (Project titled: Mechanical Behaviour of Additively manufactured steels) in MOM lab. Apart from the PhD work , Sourav is actively engaged in the IKS project, which focuses on “investigating traditional iron monuments in central India”. During Ph.D, I am cultivating a holistic approach that spans the realms of material processing , microstructure analysis , and the study of mechanical properties.

Abhinav joined the group in August 2018 after the completing Masters from the Department of MEMS, IIT Indore. Abhinav is working on understanding the deformation behavior of Magnesium alloys under uni- and multi axial loading conditions.

Raineesh has worked on understanding the deformation behavior of Mg during indentation. He has developed mathematical model to characterize the plastic flow under a Berkovich and Spherical indenter.
