Lessons for Adults

Since adults can concentrate better than children, I will introduce longer musical pieces to beginning adult students. I also tend to be much more flexible with adult students: I encourage them to bring in music that they want to learn, discuss and determine the pace of learning. Learning how to read music is an essential part of learning for adults. Once music proficiency is established, students can enjoy playing the piano independently.

For more advanced students, I will focus on piano techniques, the development of tone, and interpretation of musical pieces. I will introduce students to classical piano pieces and teach them how to interpret different forms of piano composition.
