I love cooking anytime I get a chance for three specific reasons.
1. I don't get any unhealthy produce fresh; which means less processing and preservatives by proxy the food holds more vitamins and health value.
2. I'm a picky eater. I have a select taste and many restaurants aren't able to remove certain foods from their dishes because they were previously stored frozen. Which ultimately goes back to the food being unhealthy.
3. In most cases, eating for two people is more expensive when eating out V buying groceries.
So most of the time I'd rather spend my time making food that ill love regardless; plus its a great skill to have in emergencies.
I've always loved reading; some of my favorite series include:
The Mortal Instruments - Cassandra Clare
Unwind Trilogy - Neal Shusterman
In The After/In The End - Demitria Luetta
The Taking - Kimberly Derting
A Week Of Mondays - Jessica Brody
Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
I'm Currently Reading:
The Handmaid's Tale - Margret Atwood
Every birthday I've had since I was 5 has revolved around this roller skating rink. On top of the physical health benefits, this is just so fun and entertaining.
Every now and then I indulge in the pleasures of deconstruction and cleaning. It can be so cleansing/satisfying to see a project start off looking disgusting, and a couple hours of hard work later (if any work) it's transformed like a butterfly.
