Off-campus activities are being conducted to supplement and facilities a more meaningful learning experience for students in addition to the regular classroom instructional program. They are intended to broaden the student's learning opportunities and allow them a feel of the real world. Thus, the conduct of an experiential learning activity and educational tour is included in the curriculum so students would be exposed to experienced educators and researchers, visit or observe reputable firms or government institutions related to their program and appreciate cultural sites, landmark and other related venues.
In recognition of the value of off-campus activity, the ESSU Board of Regents through Resolution No. 168 Series of 2023 has approved the Graduate School's Experiential Learning Activity in Cebu City on December 17-21, 202
Successful Webinar- hosted by MATVE Program
The collaboration of two reputable universities, Eastern Samar State Universities and University of Eastern Philippines, Catarman, Northern Samar successfully conducted a webinar webinar with a theme "Fostering Collaboration between IT educators and Enthusiasts for the Advancement of Evolving World of Information Technology Education", brings together experts and enthusiasts from the field of Information Technology to explore crucial aspects of IT education. We have an exceptional lineup of topics, ranging from overcoming challenges in IT integration in education to fostering a connected learning environment in the digital age, continuous professional development for IT educators, and collaborative research initiatives in IT-enhanced education. By staying connected, participants share insights, strategies, and innovations to collectively enhance education through technology. The focused on the said webinar was on leveraging IT to improve teaching methods, curriculum design, and overall educational outcomes for the benefits of the students. Establishing a network of collaboration will facilitate the exchange of best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT education.
