International Conference on Integrative Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Eastern Samar State University once again hosted the International Conference on Integrative Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (ICIDRRM) from November 22-24, 2023, at the Teatro Ibabawnon, Eastern Samar State University-Main Campus, Borongan City, Eastern Samar, Philippines. The theme of the conference was "Fostering Resilience: Bridging Disaster Risk Reduction and Sustainable Development Goals for a Secured Future."
The conference aimed to bring together academicians, researchers, DRRM experts, LGU representatives, and local and international participants to share knowledge, present research findings, and disseminate best practices in disaster risk reduction and management. It provided a valuable opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas, network, and collaborate towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Throughout the conference, keynote and plenary speakers, along with researchers and DRRM experts, shared their expertise and experiences, contributing to the overall success of the event. Participants were able to engage in fruitful discussions, gain insights, and establish new connections in the field.

The recently conducted seminar on Patent Search Writeshop for ESSU-Main Graduate School was a resounding success. Held on November 11, 2023, at the 2nd floor Library of ESSU-Main Campus, the event aimed to equip graduate students with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct effective patent searches.
The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of the patent search process, highlighting its importance in research and innovation.
