I supervise research projects in theoretical nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, computational physics and machine learning.
My supervision includes doctoral, master’s and undergraduate research projects.
Current doctoral supervision
Miriam Davies
PhD researcher, October 2023–present
Principal supervisor
Research topics include nuclear clustering, alpha-particle condensation and the structure of diluted neutron-rich oxygen nuclei.
Her work has resulted in a Physical Review C Editors’ Suggestion paper, a poster prize at the 2026 Institute of Physics Nuclear Physics Conference, and the Best Presentation Award at the CLUSTER Conference in London.
