I love handicrafts and embroidery, I am also so fascinated with lights and colors so I wanted to make something that mixed fabrics and embroidery with electronics.
This is the most thing that I found similar to what I wanted to do, I will add some features that I am going to explain it later in this proposal.
1- Construction Parts: this night lamp will consist of an enclosure that will contain the electronic components. it will be made from plywood. more like the one in the picture.
2- Input:
Sensing: the night lamp will contain a light sensor, that will sense the level of light and will light up a number of LEDs accordingly, and a sound sensor (microphone) to sense the clap sound.
User Input: pressing an on-off button to start the sleeping white noise, the device will contain an on-off switch also, and a knob to control the sound level.
3- Actions: the night lamp will contain numbers of LEDs that will light up according to the level of light being sensed by the light sensor.
it also will contain a speaker that will play the white noise of sleeping according to, which will be sensed by the sound sensor.
General Function:
It is an embroidered night lamp that will help the user to sleep by providing a suitable environment of light and white music in the evening while in the morning it is a beautiful embroidered bedside antique.
Features:
the night lamp will light up the LEDs according to the level of light, it contains a sleep white noise that can be played by pressing the on-off button, and the user also can control the level of sound, it also contains LEDs that will light up to show what time it is now (Hours only).
Minimum Features: are the least amount of features that would demonstrate the coverage of all the technical modules and their complete integration
Complete Features: are the set of features that will complete your original project objective and vision
Nice-to-have Features: are the extra set of features that will make the project cooler, yet they need extra time, effort, and/or resources to finish
