Welcome event at
Auditorium Santa Teresa

On Monday 31 August, from 17:00 to 19:30, participants are invited to a welcome apericena at the Auditorium Santa Teresa, the Summer School venue. Catered by Pasticceria Boccia, the buffet will feature a selection of Apulian specialities, small pastries, and drinks.

The event is free of charge and open to all participants.

Free afternoon at
Pane e Pomodoro beach

On Wednesday 2 September participants will have a free afternoon from 16:00 to 21:00, with the option of joining other participants at Pane e Pomodoro beach. 

Located close to the city centre, the beach can be reached by a pleasant walk along the seafront. Participants may wish to bring swimwear, a towel, and anything else they may need for an afternoon at the beach.

Social dinner at
La Cecchina restaurant

On Thursday 3 September the social dinner will take place at La Cecchina (Piazza Mercantile, 31), a restaurant in the Old Town, within easy walking distance of the conference venue.

The dinner starts at 20:00. The set menu features traditional dishes from Bari.
