3rd SUMMER SCHOOL OF THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR THE PHILOSOPHY OF MATHEMATICS
3rd SUMMER SCHOOL OF THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR THE PHILOSOPHY OF MATHEMATICS
The 3rd Summer School of European Society for the Philosophy of Mathematics (ESPM), will take place in person at the University of Bari Aldo Moro from 31 August to 4 September 2026.
The Summer School will bring together more than 40 participants for a week of lectures, tutorials, contributed talks, and discussion. Its rich and engaging program will feature two week-long tutorials, three invited lectures, and ten contributed talks, offering participants the opportunity to explore a broad range of questions in the philosophy of mathematics and to exchange ideas in a lively and collaborative environment.
The topics addressed throughout the week will span the main areas of the philosophy of mathematics, with particular attention to foundational questions and to the connections between mathematical logic and the philosophy of mathematics. Alongside the academic sessions, the program will include several opportunities for informal discussion and social exchange, fostering interaction among students, early-career researchers, and established scholars.
