He's got more than 8 years of experience in this area as a teacher and tutor (PreK - 12). He is highly trained in the Primary Years Program (PYP) from the International Baccalaureate Organization and he is a passionate advocate for student-centered learning. Wordless picture books and Dr. Seuss's books are his favorite resource when it comes to reading time.
As for older students he uses Cambridge English as a basis along with the CEFR scale in order to provide an outstanding level. At the Fulbright ETP he acquired the necessary knowledge to write formal and academic documents.
For English-speaking students seeking to learn Spanish he is familiar with the wide range of methods out there such as the Total Physical Response (TPR), Suggestopedia, Audio-lingual, and The Natural Approach. The program can be designed to meet the European Framework or objective-based on specific topics.
He has worked as a simultaneous interpreter (ENG/SPA) for Scholars, Authors, Publishers, Lawyers, Investigators, Scientists, Business people, and Doctors. His most recent work as a simultaneous interpreter was for Andrew O'Keefe during his visit to the Ecuadorian Amazon to study the behavior of the Waorani people.
