In 2011 he started his own-business tutoring children on general education curriculum (K-12). One year later he was hired to work as a bilingual teacher for Colegio Británico Internacional. As part of this school, he refined his skills as a teacher. He was trained on the International Baccalaureate Program, IB (PYP, MYP, DP), the Reggio Emilia Approach, and The Reading and Writing Workshop.

He is a highly skilled translator and interpreter. He worked for a construction company that had English-speaking customers who had him translate legal, medical, and technical documents in addition to his duties as a bilingual sales representative. He has worked as a simultaneous interpreter (ENG/SPA) for Scholars, Authors, Publishers, Lawyers, Investigators, Scientists, Business people, and Doctors.

Jorge is driven by his passion and eagerness for excellence and greatness.

Given his taste for advertising and architecture, he writes about his findings in Quito, his hometown. He is an active member of Ciclistas Urbanos de Quito with on-going projects such as Ciclovías Conmemorativas and Masa Crítica.

Not everything is serious about him, he enjoys Cyanide and Happiness for a laugh and preparing his grandma's favorite recipes.
