The curriculum integrates the WIDA Standards with the 6th grade Georgia Standards of Excellence. Content is individualized to meet the needs of each student based upon his/her language and literacy level. It focuses on the primary language functions: reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing. Language support for other 6th grade academic classes is provided as needed.
