Research
My research focuses on hypergeometric functions and their relationship with modular forms. Specifically, I am trying to understand how symmetries on the side of hypergeometric functions (e.g. transformation formulas) arise from symmetries of the modular forms (e.g. the Atkin-Lehner involution). Much of my work is on the analytic aspect of hypergeometric functions, but I am also interested in how it translates into Galois representations and, by extension, finite field hypergeometric functions
