Transitional English, R/W/L4
Transitional English, R/W/L4
To enroll in these courses, you must have completed your ESL 3 and R/W/L3 classes. You only belong here if you have completed these mentioned courses. Transitional English and R/W/L4 focus on improving reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and using 21st Century Skills such as collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students will be required to complete notebooks, read fiction and nonfiction texts, create online projects, do public speaking presentations, create podcasts, and know how to write a personal narrative, expository and argumentative essays. Additionally, students will practice for the WIDA Exam, a state requirement to exit the ESL Program. To successfully pass WIDA, you need to obtain a passing grade of 4.5
