During the 2020 academic year, the Ministry of Education provided educational materials through Aprendemos Juntos en Casa. Facilitators from the Education for Sustainability Galápagos Program (ESG) offered contextualized adaptations for the English lessons. Many of these lesson adaptations can be used to teach within the Curriculum Contextualized for Galápagos (CCG).
The CCG is organized first by three pillars of sustainability (ejes de sostenibilidad). Beneath the pillars are 14 essential themes (temas esenciales) and many related subthemse (subtemas). Each essential theme has a number, 1 through 14.
Facilitators from the ESG Program have organized the 2020-2021 lesson adaptation by sublevel. Each adaptation identifies the related essential themes (temas esenciales) for the lesson adaptation by number. The links appear below the diagram.
