In order to enrich content and dissemination, the project hosts 3 international conferences and workshops in the Netherlands, Hungary, and Germany, bringing together managers, consultants, business owners, and everyone interested in ESG business model innovation. Each event includes interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, focused on sharing knowledge, best practices, and strategies for sustainable, values-driven ESG business model transformation
In the framework of our first transnational Erasmus+ meeting, we delivered an ESG Business Model Innovation Training Course with a focus on Circular Economy for the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna between January 9 and 14, 2025.
The three-day training engaged 25 students and future managers from the Master’s programme European Economy and Business Management and was conducted in collaboration with Circular Economy expert Mag. Karin Huber-Heim.
Participants developed ESG- and Circular Economy–driven business model innovation strategies for three Austrian companies through a mix of theory sessions, group work, desk research, business case interviews, and result presentations. Successful participants received a Business Model Innovation Certificate, enhancing their CVs and career prospects
Mariënkroon Summer Conference
In the context of our second transnational Erasmus+ meeting, the Mariënkroon Summer Conference 2025 was held from June 11 to 13, 2025 at the Abdijhof Mariënkroon conference centre in Nieuwkuijk, the Netherlands. The conference brought together 30 international participants under the title Thriving People, Thriving Businesses, Thriving Planet, in cooperation with Sophia University (Italy) and the Economy of Communion network.
The first two days featured content creation workshops, a webinar, and an ESG Business Model Innovation management training. During this training, the innovation methodology developed by our team was applied by 13 managers, consultants, and lateral thinkers to the ESG business model innovation of three organizations, combining theory, group work, speed-innovation sessions, and result presentations.
The third day focused on an in-depth exploration of ESG-aligned leadership
