The ISO ESG Implementation Principles (IWA 48) is an international reference model for ESG practices first published by ISO in 2024-11. It is a universal language that ensures global interoperability and consistency in ESG reporting and practices. It provides high-level guidance to address how to implement and embed ESG within the culture of an organization. The principles outlined in the framework offer a pathway for organizations and investors to create lasting, positive impacts on the globe. Knowledge of the ISO ESG Implementation Principles and adopting the IWA 48 Framework is undoubtedly a necessary step for any forward-thinking organization. This one-day course provides participants an overview of the ISO ESG Implementation Principles and framework (IWA 48), and conformity assessment of the ISO standards

Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Honorary Fellow of Guangdong Society of Engineers, Registered professional engineer in civil, building and materials disciplines. He retired from the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, City University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Cheung received his bachelor’s degree from the School of Hotel Administration,
Cornell University (USA) and holds an MBA from Strathclyde University (UK) and a PhD in Hospitality Administration from Oklahoma State University (USA).
