The Facility Master Plan not only addresses the physical condition of our facilities—it also establishes a shared vision for the future. Through a design thinking framework, we engaged multiple stakeholder groups to better understand user experiences, identify challenges, generate a wide range of ideas, refine priorities, and gather feedback. This collaborative process led to consensus around several “BIG IDEAS” that guide the master plan projects and reflect the district’s long-term goals for how facilities can best support educational outcomes
Over the years, the district has made strategic investments to improve and modernize its school facilities—ranging from new construction and classroom upgrades to safety enhancements and energy-efficient systems. These efforts were made possible through a combination of local bond measures, state funding, and community partnerships. Each project has contributed to a stronger foundation for student learning, reflecting the district’s long-standing commitment to providing safe, functional, and future-ready learning environments. The Facility Master Plan builds on this history, using past successes as a springboard for long-term planning.
