Escape from the Titanic was cleverly themed and it was apparent from the moment we entered the room that something was off kilter. The Escape Room Westfield clearly put thought and care into making this escape room immersive.

Escape rooms are taking the United States by storm! The goal of the game is to find a way out of a locked room within the given time limit. Work as a team to solve logical puzzles, uncover clues, and follow the storyline to unravel the mystery. Each riddle brings you one step closer to the ultimate escape! Escape room games are great for a night out with friends, a date, a birthday celebration, or a team-building activity in the United States.

Captain Cameron led us to the Titanic room. It was well kept, did not seem run down at all. The clues were great and the overall experience was positive. With a little bit of help from the captain, my team were able to escape within 31 minutes of the allotted 60 minutes, although the team did have to ask for assistance twice.

One of the best features of this room is the fact that there is no clock to distract you from the game. Of course, this leaves you to be mindful of the auditory cues they play every 10 minutes, so be sure to take the time to ask for help along the way whenever you get stuck in order to escape within the allotted time.

What a fun experience! My group of 6 did the Titanic room on Saturday and it was a blast. We did the titanic room in 40 minutes with 2 hints. In retrospect, I wish we spent more time figuring somethings out instead of asking for hints but we thought we were running out of time. This is medium level. They have an easier one (zen, easier if you have a creative mind) and a harder one. Max for outbreak is 4. Would definitely return (but does get pricey!).

Was there a man dressed as a woman who boarded the lifeboat and escaped the sinking Titanic? The answer is no, but instead there was a young boy with a hat, and a Third Class passenger that wore a shawl over around his head. The night that Titanic sank, the decks were filled with people that soon realized they were going to die and did whatever they could to try and get into a lifeboat. However, the few men that did manage to get away had a lot to answer for and bore accusations of less-than- honorable behavior. Despite the rumors of a man dressed as a woman who managed to get into the lifeboats, no such person has ever been found, and it is just one more mystery of the Titanic that may never be solved.

This was the coolest diy escape room EVER! Eight boys ages 10-13 did it together for a birthday party. I did buy some decorations to add to the atmosphere, but the printable would be entirely sufficient on its own. I hid all the clues around the room to add a little extra mystery. Best birthday ever!!!

That's definitely possible! Our printable escape rooms are designed to be flexible and easy to adapt to your needs. If you have locks, chests, and props on hand, you can absolutely integrate them into the experience. For example, you could use numeric locks for the games whose answers are digits, or padlocks if you want to check the answers manually and hand the keys to the players. You can also add your own props to enhance the atmosphere and immersion of the game. Just keep in mind that the games are designed to be self-contained, so you don't need any additional props or equipment to play. But if you have them, you can certainly use them to make the game more fun and exciting!

Absolutely! You don't need any prior experience to play our printable escape rooms. Each game includes instructions and answer sheets, and they all have an intuitive flow that guides you through the experience. Just print out the materials, grab some friends or family, and you'll be ready to play.

Unlike real-life escape rooms, printable escape rooms are not time-limited. You can take as long as you need to complete the game, and you can pause or stop playing whenever you like. This means you can play at your own pace, take breaks if you need to, and come back to the game whenever you're ready.

J. Bruce Ismay, the managing director of the White Star Line (which owned and operated the Titanic) has commonly been portrayed as having dressed as a woman in order to make a cowardly escape to safety aboard a lifeboat, but that depiction was based on nothing more than a resentful rumor promulgated by those who felt he was the person most responsible for the Titanic disaster and should therefore have gone down with his ship rather than displacing an innocent passenger from a lifeboat. (Ismay stepped aboard a collapsible lifeboat which was loaded slightly under its capacity just as it was about to be lowered, so he didn't really take the place of anyone who might otherwise have been saved.)

Two other men, William Carter and Dickinson Bishop, were also spitefully tagged as having disguised themselves as women to escape from the Titanic, and in both cases the rumors were lent additional credence when the men's wives divorced them and cited their alleged less-than-honorable behavior the night the Titanic went down as one of the reasons.

So, all in all, the Titanic's lifeboats held a boy in a woman's hat and a young man in a woman's shawl (both items of apparel apparently placed on their heads by others), but the man who allegedly escaped in full female regalia remains a chimera.

Sightings: A memorable episode of Rod Serling's Night Gallery ("Lone Survivor," original air date 13 January 1971) deals with the fate of a Titanic passenger who seemingly escaped his destiny by dressing as a woman.

Onboard the Titanic, "you" must choose one of three potential characters: a second-class passenger (male, European descent), a crew member (male, race unspecified), and a stowaway (gender and race unspecified), and try to escape the ship's doomed maiden voyage. As "you" doodle on, punch through, tear, and fold the pages, "you" encounter historical figures such as J. Bruce Ismay, the chairman of the White Star Line, and Capt. Edward John Smith (both male and white) and learn about the many decisions that condemned the Titanic to failure. Doyle ups the ante in choosing the correct path as death lurks around every corner. Drowning, freezing to death, and drifting off into the cold night are only a few of the tragic endings waiting for those who aren't expert "escapologists." However, with the guidance of a helpful gopher (an actual animal) that returns "you" to the last checkpoint, "you" get multiple chances of avoiding demise. With more tragic than happy endings, this book might seem a cavalier take on a catastrophic event to readers who don't appreciate graphic descriptions of death and dying, punctuated as it is with exercises such as drawing "a bowl of cold and slimy noodles on a passenger's head" and pretending to tap out "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain!" on Sax's lineup of partially filled wineglasses. The three difficulty levels show the socio-economic dynamics of maritime travel in 1914, giving fewer chances of survival to stowaways and crew members.

Natalie Owen (Designer): As a James Cameron film fanatic, Titanic is by far one of my favourite films to watch. After finding out the theme of the escape room was based on the Titanic, I was thrilled! Houdini's absolutely nailed the decor of each room and it was surprisingly bigger inside than I expected.

Without giving much away, if you have never experienced an escape room before then you are in for a treat. From the sound effects to the fun hosts it really does give you a sense of being on board a ship, rather than inside a building with bowling taking place downstairs. I would certainly give the experience another go again to see if we could beat our time score - and I would certainly give the other themed rooms a go as well! ff782bc1db
