A drill meet is a competitive event where a select few groups of cadets within the ROTC programs in our area that put a lot of time into honing their drill skills and marching capabilities.
After lots of effort in practice they will decide to attend a drill meet to show off their skills and compete with other schools for awards.
Drill meets are usually split into a few different segments with different teams these are Uniform Inspection, Unarmed Basic, Armed Basic, Unarmed Exhibition, Armed Exhibition, Color Guard, and Athletics.
