General Information
Emergency Response Patrol Team (ERPT) is the division you first join when you join the London Police Service. Here you will learn the basics of how you should conduct yourself as an officer. Your main responsibility as a member of ERPT is scene containment, responding to 999 calls and to enforce law and order across the city. You will use scene containment measures while managing what's going on around you. How well you manage a scene can determine if a situation goes good or bad.
You are the main transport unit and if someone requests a criminal transport you must respond to that scene.
As soon as you join the MET, police you are allocated a checklist in which you must complete to become an official ERPT officer and be off probation.
You will be expected to complete foot, bike and car patrols around the city and enforce law to keep the city safe. If any problems arise, contact a member of bronze command. If you are in dire need of gold command, then please contact an advisor first as pinging gold command also pings commissioner team.
