This is where it all started.....
A family project where all of us started glueing this poor mannequin with small mirrors. It was so much fun, and the end results were so satisfying....
Every time someone visited our house, it was the perfect conversation starter, and somehow, someone always landed in front of it, admiring themselves in the tiny little squares.
Then I found out it had a name, Mosaic.
Mosaic is one of the most relaxing things to do.
While you paste and plan your next move, your brain are totally in relaxation mode. Nothing else matters.
I found myself working till the morning hours, without even realising it, or getting tired.
So much fun!
If you give it wings, it will surely soar...
I thought it would be nice to give this one wings, and boy oh boy, it looked so cool.
And of course, the tiny mirrors had to be present.
I totally loved working on this one.
It felt as if I was clothing a very delicate, petite lady.
I enjoyed picking out the different beads, tiles, and jewellery pieces.
And the end result was insane.
When I sold it, my heart was broken.
A piece of me was gone.
I gave this lady some tears, for she is missing someone she loved dearly.
We can all surely relate to that emotion...
I absolute adore this copy of a mannequin.
I made a copy of an original mannequin by using newspaper and water. It is featherlight and a real stunner. The photo does not, I repeat, not do her justice.
She is such a beauty, and was so much fun to create!
One of my favourite pieces.....symbolising a broken heart...possibly caused by a cheating lover. So much pain and such a burden to bear.
The chain is heavy and dragging her down a deep, dark hole.....
We all have been there ......
Luckily we get to break the chains, and set ourselves free again.......
This attractive guy was painted with some paint in a can, then glittered with Art foil.
His penetrating blue eyes look right into your soul.....if you let him,,,,,
