Born and raised in South Africa. My love for art started when I won a colour in competition at school when I was 6. The price was 50 cents. Haha!I also made a diary when I was 13, and believe me when I say it was a Work of Art. Beautiful, colourful pictures decorated the pages, and without me even knowing it, it was an expression of myself shining through. My husband is a truck driver, and on one of his many trips to Zambia, in Africa, he got me a torso of a mannequin, that was thrown away in a dumpster. I looked at him like he was a crazy man when the mannequin was sitting next to him in the car. Haha!!It turned out to be a family project where we decorated it with hundreds of little mirror pieces. She took a few days to finish her, but in the end she looked beautiful. The bug bit me good, and I started doing more and more mosaic. Then the move to Ireland came, and when covid hit, I had to do something arty o rgo batshit crazy.I started painting, and that was it......
