The ERL Emergency Service Robots 2022 Local Tournament will be hosted in Poznan, Poland, thanks to the collaboration between the Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) with the European Space Foundation (ESF) and Poznan University of Technology.

Poznan is among the oldest and largest cities in Poland, and the historical capital of the Greater Poland region. It is best known for its renaissance Old Town and Ostrów Tumski Cathedral. Poznan is one of the four largest academic centres in Poland; every one of four inhabitants is a student.
