• It is recommended to choose a hotel or Airbnb in San Miguel (Southern Zone) or Sopocachi (downtown). Staying farther away from these areas is not advisable due to the distance. 

• Both areas offer a wide range of public transportation options. From the least expensive to the most costly, the most commonly used are: minibus, trufi, and taxi. 

• To go from Sopocachi to U.C.B., you should take transportation heading toward the Southern Zone (San Miguel, Calacoto, Achumani, or Cota Cota). 

• To go from San Miguel to U.C.B., you should take transportation heading to Miraflores or Sopocachi.

• In all cases, you should ask the driver to stop at Calle 2 de Obrajes. 

• Transportation from San Miguel to Miraflores stops at the main entrance of U.C.B., while all other routes stop at Calle 2 de Obrajes on Avenida Hernando Siles, one block from the university. 

• The cable car is another option. It offers a more pleasant ride, although the walk from the Mi Teleférico station to U.C.B. is longer. Google Maps is an excellent resource for checking which cable car lines to use.
