BRIEF INTRODUCTION - PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Erika Ivacson is a Hungarian visual artist born in Transylvania, Romania, with nearly 25 years of experience in interdisciplinary artistic expression. She specializes in sculpture and interactive installations, focusing on themes of transformation, identity, and human connection.
She pursued her artistic education in Florence, Italy, where she honed her skills in sculpture. For 16 years, she was a member of the international artistic team at Centro Ave Arte in Loppiano, Florence, collaborating on projects across Italy, England, Panama, Cameroon, and Romania. Her work has been exhibited in various galleries and exhibitions in Italy, Turkey, and beyond.
Ivacson has curated and presented interactive exhibitions in Castelgandolfo (Italy, 2016), Manila (Philippines, 2018), and Havana (Cuba, 2022), each exploring the intersection of human perception, beauty, and self-discovery.
Since 2017, she has led the DAB Project (Dentro y a través de la Belleza—Inside and Through Beauty), which embodies her artistic vision of art as a lived experience rather than mere observation. She sees beauty as a mediator between contrasts in life and believes that creativity emerges through meaningful interactions.
Hertistic and educational journey, mentoring young artists and fostering artistic dialogue. Through her work, she aims to build bridges between cultures, encouraging deeper self-awareness and a shared human experience through art.
2025 - Direction of the DAB project in collaboration with the Instituto P. Félix Varela, Havana, Cuba, where he plays a graduate role through the DAB project.
