What You Need to Know To Get Started
Do you take insurance?
I'm primarily a fee-for-service provider, which means payment is due at the time of each session.
However, many clients are surprised to learn that their insurance may fully reimburse therapy through out-of-network benefits. I provide detailed receipts (called "superbills") that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. More information about Out of Network Reinbursement.
You can also use Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) funds to pay for therapy. These accounts give you a tax advantage (pre-tax money) for healthcare spending.
I am paneled with Aetna and Carelon Behavioral Health.
What’s the cost per session?
I offer flexible time options to meet your needs and schedule:
Therapy Sessions
Individual 🧗🏽♀️
Couples 💑🏽
Adult Families 👨👩👧👧
60 min session: $351
90 min session: $504
How does therapy work?
Therapy is a professional, confidential, and supportive relationship designed to help you better manage stress, navigate relationships, accomplish your goals, and explore existential transitions impacting your daily life.
Therapy helps identify, diagnose, and treat mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, etc. By learning about yourself with compassion, you can chose to develop alternative responses to stressors.
While not everyone meets criteria for a mental health diagnosis, everyone can benefit from talking with a trusted professional to understand ourselves, practice self-compasion, and find meaning and purpose in life.
Depression
Depression is characterized by changes in mood, sense of self and overall energy. Some of the symptoms include, feelings of worthnessness and hopelessness, lack of pleasure or interest in activities previously enjoyed, lack of energy, and sleep and appetite changes.
Anxiety
Anxiety is characterized by excessive worry, rumination, changes in sleep and appetite, muscle tension, feelings of inpending doom, as well as intense physical bodily sensations (e.g. shortness of breath, palpitations, ecessive sweating). Anxiety can feel very physically overwhelming.
Trauma
Trauma is characterized by a mix of anxiety symptoms and depression symptoms (which may or may not include an anxiety or depression diagnoses). Symptoms may include, sleep and appetite disturbance, nightmares, hypervigilance, reliving of traumatic events, isolation, intense avoidance, and general distrust and fear.
Please note that these are general examples. You need a full assessment and consultation with a licensed professional to determine if you meet criteria for any mental health condition.

As a licensed psychologist, I can provide supervision, didactics, and training to Masters level trainees (Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Clinical Social Workers) and Doctoral psychologist trainees.
