This is my take on the MintyPi project originally created by wermy on YouTube. The project was discontinued and I found the idea really interesting, so I decided to try and take on the challenge. My goal for this is to make this as easy as possible for the average person to build, all while keeping everything open source so that others can make their own changes as well.
This project got pushed to the side, because of some more important things like school and sports at school. It WILL be finished eventually, however.
This will just be a basic mp4 player, written in python to help coaches re watch tapes in slow-motion, backwards and sped up.
I'm a basketball player and after every home game, we watch film (recordings of the game) and our coach uses YouTube to watch the clips. Unfortunately, it is pretty hard to stop YouTube from playing at very precise times, and the frame-rate caps out at 60 fps, so it's really hard to view the footage we need in slow motion, and get the most out of it.
This PC will be for my personal use and it is still a maybe. As mentioned in the about me, I have a absolutely terrible computer. It really sucks, because one of my favorite things to do is code or optimize/experiment with computers. There isnt much that I can do with a Celeron, 4gb laptop.

I have wanted to build a server for a while and this was the best opportunity that I have had to do that. I used random parts that I had on hand.
