I aligned AFNR standards with the Wildlife Management pathway in this unit plan, ensuring a comprehensive and structured approach to instruction. By integrating these standards, I developed a lesson plan designed for delivery in a classroom setting, where it will be evaluated by a cooperating teacher. This curriculum provides students with the opportunity to explore a lesser-known agricultural pathway through engaging, hands-on learning experiences and practical demonstrations. Additionally, it facilitates collaboration with key stakeholders and introduces students to potential career opportunities within the field.
I aligned AFNR standards with the Animal Science pathway in this unit plan, ensuring a comprehensive approach to instruction. By implementing these standards, I developed a lesson plan that allows students to explore the digestive system of ruminant animals in depth. This lesson promotes collaboration in the classroom by encouraging group discussions and interactive learning activities. Additionally, students engage in a hands-on activity that reinforces their understanding of ruminant digestion and allows them to demonstrate the knowledge they’ve gained in a practical, engaging way.
