Hi, I'm Eric Seidlitz and the following folders contain some of the images that I have taken over the years.
I have been taking photographs since the mid 1970s using small instamatic 110 and 126 film cameras, but got my first 'real' film camera in 1980, an East German made Praktica PLC-3 single-lens reflex (SLR). The quality of my images dramatically increased and I was hooked.
Throughout the 80s and 90s I collected old cameras mostly at garage sales and I developed quite a collection. Many of these I was able to use (when film was available) and I also learned a lot about developing black and white film and printing enlargements at home.
In the 1990's I continued to develop my photography skills with Nikon 35mm film SLRs such as the F601, adding a variety of lenses, and eventually my final film camera the Nikon F75. In the early 2000's I made the leap into digital photography with a tiny Fuji FinePix F440 and the Kodak Z12IS (just to get a feel for it, without spending a lot of money) before switching to the more familiar layout of the Nikon dSLRs. My first was the D80, and my current dSLR is the sturdy Nikon d5200.
