The Kitty Hawk Honor Society (KHHS) is a national honor society that encourages cadets to become better leaders, deepen relation to the corps, excel and develop an interest in academics. It offers educational/leadership development opportunities and is a membership/invitation ONLY organization. The society hosts meetings AT LEAST once a month, online, on Thursdays, and have an induction ceremony welcoming in new members every semester. The society will host and plan out Service hour opportunities (Such as tutoring for cadets) and Fundraising events as well!
Complete one semester of JROTC
Have a minimum 3.2 GPA and a A in the class, (consistent with academics NOT FAILING CLASSES)
Minimum of 10 service hours for first years, 20 for second years, 30 for third years, and so on.
Must show character (respectful, willing to set up, demonstrates Air force values)
Participate in at least 1 community service hour events in JROTC per semester
Attend drill and color guard practices at least twice a semester
Staff and officers/Go to staff meetings at least twice a month.
