Dr. Ergun Alperay Tarim is a distinguished bioengineer specializing in point-of-care diagnostics, wearable sensor technologies, and microfluidic systems. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where he continues to drive innovation in biomedical engineering and healthcare technology.

Dr. Tarim earned his PhD in Bioengineering from the Izmir Institute of Technology, where he developed innovative telemedicine platforms for remote patient monitoring. He also holds an MSc in Computer Science from Dokuz Eylül University, where his thesis focused on fuzzy decision. His expertise bridges bioinstrumentation, microfabrication, and machine learning, making him a versatile researcher and innovator in the biomedical field.
