INVITED SPEAKERS

Michaela Klauck

Michaela is a research engineer at Bosch Corporate Research in Renningen, Germany. Her focus lies in the verification of planning and decision making in autonomous systems. She is working on model-checking robotic deliberation and autonomous driving behavior. For Bosch Research she is leading the EU-funded project CONVINCE, in which she is working on making autonomous robot behavior more robust with model checking techniques. Previously, she has been a research associate at Saarland University, working in the area of quantitative verification, especially at the interface of these topics to automatic planning and the AI community. She holds a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in computer science. Thesis: "On the Connection of Probabilistic Model Checking, Planning, and Learning for System Verification".

Razane Azrou

Razane Azrou is a research engineer in robotics and AI, freshly graduated and starting her working experience at Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) in France. Razane is in charge of researching and developing new approaches to enhance present autonomous robots technologies, alongside various European collaborators. The focus is made on AI based approaches. Razane is of a curious and energetic nature, a character that naturally led her to research fields. In her free time, she also uses her energy for running and swimming or chooses to rest her mind through reading and cooking.
