Biography:
Hadrien Henry completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. at Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse before pursuing a PhD at Macquarie University in Australia. His doctoral research focused on the microstructures of mantle pyroxenites and their associated seismic properties. During his first postdoctoral appointment at Macquarie University, Hadrien broadened his research scope by working on new ophiolites, orogenic peridotites but also by participating to the characterization of zircon reference materials as well as in studies of biomaterials. His current work revolves around the formation of the oceanic crust and its magmatic evolution as well as the petrogenesis of chromite ore. Since 2021, he has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Géosciences Environnement Toulouse laboratory and joined the PLANETAFELSIC team in 2025.
