VITA's Project Impact on the Participating Organisations
Earlier today, MECB together with the help of MBB organized the final multiplier event in Malta for the VITA project. The event included presentations on a number of project outputs in particular the Toolbox and the AR/VR case-studies. Participants also had the opportunity of trying out the VITA toolbox as well as a number of VR and AR case-studies showing how this technology can be used to help adults catch up with digital skills.

During the fifth and final transnational partner's meeting of the KA2 VITA project, the partners carried out an internal assessment to establish the impacts of the VITA project and in particular the Toolbox. VITA's 5th & Final Transnational Meeting held in Bucharest, Romania
The fifth and final transnational partner's meeting of the KA2 VITA project was hosted by the research centre UPB-CAMIS of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania. During this meeting, the partners reviewed the quality of project's results, discussed final dissemination efforts as well as plans for the long-term exploitation of project outputs.

VITA Announces July 2019 Business Breakfast in Malta
The VITA consortium announces that it will be organizing a business breakast in Malta entitled 'EMPOWERING ADULTS TO THRIVE AT WORK: DIGITAL SKILLS FOR 21ST CENTURY JOBS. VITA's Project Highlighted during 'Industry 4.0' Business Breakfast
The #Erasmusplus VITA project and how it is helping adults catch up with #digital #skills was promoted during a Business Breakfast event organized by the Malta Independent on digitization taking place as part of the 4th Industrial Revolution. This event was supported by MEP Miriam Dalli.
VITA's 'Reaching Out' Seminar Held in Brussels, Belgium
The VITA partners collectively organized an event to reach out the various stakeholders based in Brussels and having an interest in Adult Training. During this afternoon seminar, the partners presented an overview of the projects aim and objectives, complete with demonstrations of a number of Augmented and Virtual Reality case-studies implmented. This enabled the participants present to provide the VITA partners with valuable feedback on how the VITA results and in particular the Toolbox can be both improved and exploited.
VITA's 4th Transnational Meeting held in Brussels, Belgium
The fourth transnational partner's meeting of the KA2 VITA project was hosted by the Malta Business Bureua at Malta's Representation Office in the city of Brussels. During this meeting, the partners reviewed the quality of project's e-Learning content and discussed design issues related to the draft versions of the Toolbox and VITA framework. In addition, the partners took various project management decisions including the planning of the final conference content taking place in Bucharest in June 2019.
VITA Announces April 2019 Information Seminar in Brussels, Belgium
The VITA consortium announces that it will be organizing a demo event in Brussels Belgium as to how Augmanted Reality (AR) can be used to help adults catch up with digital skills. The event will take place at Dar Malta, in Brussels, Belgium on 15th April 2019. Besides outlining the aims and objectives of the VITA project, this event will enable participants to learn more and even try emerging project results including; platform, e-learning material, toolbox, framework & case studies. The VITA consortium announces that it will be organizing a multiplier event in Athens Greece on 28th February 2019. Besides outlining the aims and objectives of the VITA project, this event will enable participants to learn more and even try emerging project results including; platform, e-learning material, toolbox, framework & case studies. This event will allow participants to provide their valuable feedback so that improvements to the project results can be implemented where necessary. VITA's 3rd Transnational Meeting held in Athens, Greece
The third transnational partner's meeting of the KA2 VITA project was hosted by the Greek partner organisation Drosostalida in the city of Athens. During this meeting, the partners reviewed the quality of project case-studies and the evolving VITA Courseware. In addition, the partners explore conceptual designs for the VITA Toolbox and made preliminary evaluations of the VITA LMS structure.
VITA's 2nd Transnational Meeting held in Ostrava, Czech
The second transnational partner's meeting of the KA2 VITA project was hosted by the Czech patner organisation RPIC-VIP in the city of Ostrava. During this meeting, the partners reviewed the quality of project results emerging so far, planned work for the coming months and organized a training session on Augmented reality, the latter important for the development of project AR case-studies.
VITA Project featured on Magazine in Romania
The KA2 VITA project, through its Romanian partner UPB-CAMIS has been featured in an article published on the Magazine Market Watch Issue No. 204 (page 21). The magazine follows new trends and emerging technologies.
VITA Project featured on Maltese TV Programme
The KA2 VITA project, was featured in the Gadgets programme on Malta's TV station. The video clip highlighted how adults can exploit augmented and virtual reality.
VITA Seminar on Amplifying Digital Skills for Adults in Business
The VITA project, through its Maltese partner the Malta Business Bureau organized a multiplier event on Wed 9th May on how Virtual & Augmented Reality can help Adults in Business Catch-up with Digital Skills ! The event took place at Attard & Co. Head Office in Marsa. The seminar was also addressed by MECB staff that delivered demos of AR and VR to the audience present.
State of the Art Review of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Education Report
The VITA consortium compiled a state of the art report of whether and how, Virtual & Augmented Reality is used in Education, in particular in the VITA partner countries: Czech Republic, Greece, Malta and Romania.
Adults Digital Training Needs Report
The VITA consortium launched a report compiled from focused group meetings held, in the partner countries: Czech Republic, Greece, Malta and Romania, through which it established trends of the training needs of adults that need to catch up with digital skills.
Meeting for Czech Adult Trainers & Learners Stakeholders
On 4th January 2018 RPIC organized a focused group meeting, for which participants came from the Personnel Agency Specialist Service s.s.r.o., which deals with the recruitment of persons to companies for managerial positions and teachers of the Faculty of Economics in Ostrava. In conclusion, the members of the Expert Group have expressed their conviction that education in digital competences is very beneficial, especially for speeding up and making work more efficient. From the teacher's point of view, a more effective and entertaining form of teaching will help. Details to be included in project reports.
Meeting for Maltese Adult Trainers & Learners Stakeholders
As previously announced, the VITA partners from Malta i.e. The Malta Business Bureau (MBB) and MECB Ltd organized on 12th January 2018, a focus group meeting for individuals involved in adult training to gauge the level of digital literacy among Maltese adults. Besides allowing participants to learn more about the VITA project, this meeting helped the partners to obtain feedback on which digital skill gaps need addressing. As outlined by Joe Tanti, CEO of MBB, this was considered to be a subject of high importance to European and Maltese Business. The data obtained from feedback provided by the participants will now allow the VITA partners to develop a relevant digital training toolbox.
VITA Launches Questionnaire to Establish Training Needs on Digital Literacy
The VITA consortium has launched a questionnaire to establish training needs of adults that need to catch up with digital skills. The data obtained from this questionnaire will allow the VITA partners to develop a relevant digital training toolbox. Adult learners as well as Adult Trainers are encouraged to provide input into this questionnaire available here.
Partners hold 1st meeting in Malta
The VITA partners met for the first time in Malta on 10th November 2017 to discuss and plan project activities and deliverables. During the meeting, the partners present were also given live demos of VAR technology to help them explore possible preliminary case-studies to help adults catchup with digital skills. They were also addressed by representatives of EUPA, the Maltese National Agency responsible for the Erasmus+ programme.
VITA Project launched !
The VITA project, short for Virtual & Augmented Reality Trainers Toolbox to Enable Adults Catch Up With Life Skills, has officially started on 2nd October 2017. The project, funded under Eramsus+ through Malta's National Agency EUPA will run for 24 months up to 1st October 2019. VITA involves 5 partners coming from Czech Republic, Greece, Malta and Romania.
