It is a program for the Promotion of Healthy Living Habits aimed to adolescents between 12 and 18 years. (emotional education/ healthy life style/ sexuality/ postitive use of ITC/ prevention of addictive substance use)

SIEMPRE CONTIGO ( ALWAYS WITH YOU)
The IES Villa de Vícar has been developing for years the project 'Always with you', which promotes solidarity, respect and equality. The program works through the rol of "STUDENT HELPERS", "MEDIATORS" and "CYBER MANAGER" and includes different initiatives to promote coexistence in the school.
The project has been recognized with several awards, including the Second Prize for the Promotion of Positive Coexistence of the Space for Peace School Network, granted by the Ministry of Education and the provincial recognition of the Andalusian Institute of Youth ( IAJ), in the category of Solidarity and Social Action.
The aim of this project is to learn the appropriate behaviors and distinguish the risk signs in the educational environment of new technologies. Students are trained, and transmit what they have learned to their classmates in 1st ESO
There is a "mediator" team in our school. Some students decide to be mediators, then they receive a formation and take part to this team. Their role is to resolve conflicts between students and seek peaceful solutions.
The "student helpers" collaborate in the integration of the new students in the classroom and in the center. They attend, listen and support colleagues who have concerns, doubts, problems.
They cooperate with their classmates in carrying out activities, in studying, and leads work groups.
They contribute to resolve conflicts and help their classmates without providing value judgments.
And they ask teachers if there a situation they don't know how to solve themselves.
