According to the school's ERP, by fostering a holistic interdisciplinary approach, we have increased the cross-curricular competences of students and teachers for the purpose of developing transversal skills. By encouraging students to work in groups, we have developed a sense of responsibility and belonging to the team. By putting students at the center of learning, we have encouraged them to think critically, to be creative, to innovate, to collaborate, to apply knowledge and entrepreneurship, and to be ready for public presentation. The school is making additional efforts to improve the inclusion of migrants and students with special needs, as reflected in their active involvement in the life and work of the school. Through coaching, teachers have enhanced emotional intelligence in students and enabled teachers to manage the classroom more effectively. A Croatian teacher, two English teachers, a German teacher, a history teacher, a sociology, politics and economics teacher, a mathematics teacher and a geography teacher and a pedagogue were on nine mobility-structured courses and one job shadowing activity. Mobility participants confirmed their participation in the course and arranged accommodation and transportation. The language preparation was done by the coordinator and her deputy, and cultural preparation was done individually. The Coordinator regularly monitored keeping records of planned and realized mobility, dissemination, writing reports and monitoring costs. Communication between all the participants in the mobility, the sending institution and the course organizer was conducted via e-mail, and WhatsApp-group and private messages. The acquired knowledge, skills and competences, as well as the results of mobility, were presented on the Open Door Day, on the web and social pages of the school and in the media (TV Zapad, skole.hr 13 publications, Zaprešički Spigl 3 articles, HUPEzine issue 11), on dissemination activities (school, local, national and international level) and in the eTwinning group Erasmus + SŠBJJ. At school level, the participants of the mobility held 4 lectures and 9 workshops, a workshop for the representatives of the kindergarden Vrtuljak at the local level for the purpose of reaching the vertical from kindergarten to high school. 10 workshops and lectures were held at the national level and 2 within KA 229 student exchange as well as joint-staff events, two at international conferences, 5 at inter-county and 10 at county level. A member of the Erasmus School Team has designed and published at SEG a KA1 course Creative and interactive learning: Field trip with gamification and digital storytelling to an international group where she was a lecturer with two other members. Through lectures, teachers gain points for advancement in the profession. A more innovative approach to teaching is evident in the variety of implemented projects that put students at the center through an interdisciplinary approach and the development of transversal skills: QR Codes Instead of printed materials and Croatia Full of Life; Kovacic Ante, let your students remember you! Measure, evaluate, paint! showed students the application of mathematics in life-changing situations in a modern and creative way. The inclusion project included an exhibition of students with Down Syndrome (awarded Inclusive Project Award by the Agency). The Jeane Austen Project was awarded the European Language Label Award and the QR Codes project a special recognition.
