School is a regular national high school. There are 669 students, aged 15–18, with a refugee student and a student with special needs. There are 53 teachers. The main goals of school is preparing the students for universities, and for their future life, socially and psychologically. Students join the activities of preparing scientific projects TÜBİTAK 4006 every year, and have achieved high results. School is active partner of a project called ODAK. It is carried out by the national education directorate of the city, and aims to determine the outdrop from secondary schools. By project, it identified and solved many problems. Students are also successful at the literary competitions and have got very high results in sports tournaments (football, volleyball, taekwondo, kick boxing) etc.

The school is located in Adana which is a big and metropolitan city in Turkey. Socio-economical background of the students is not the same for all students. Most of them come from the families who have middle income, but there are some students whose families are very rich or very poor, too.

Although the students' level of interest in school education is not as high as desired, their level of interest in sports, music and other social activities is quite high. Nearly all the teachers are experienced in the usage of educational technologies.
