Transnational Workshops
We considered crucial to start creating a common understanding of the concepts we are going to explore and spread during the project. It was important to share what we think about each of them in order to start planning the educational paths. Thus, we brainstormed about the specific topics that should be tackle on each international workshop. So the sketches we agreed are the following:
-
making a website : the country responsible for the website is France.
creating two logos ( one for early school leaving and one for our mock agency) by pupils from each partner country
all the pupils and the teachers will vote for the 2 best logos during our meeting in Bulgaria
discussion about the implementation of actions in the upcoming months
To-do list for next period
the participants pupils will create two logos
pupils will create a slideshow or a video to present the jobs they might do in Europe
pupils will create a short video to introduce themselves
To be continued in Croatia
To be continued in Bulgaria...
Meeting in Valpovo, Croatia (7th March -11th March 2022)
Five European high schools supporting the colors of EUROPE
After a first transnational meeting in Castres in January 2020, the dream project has finally become reality.
After many postponements and uncertainties linked to the pandemic, Bulgarian, French Romanian and Turkish students and teach, were finally able to find all their Croatian partners as part of their ERASMUS project, “On the way to the future”.
About fifty participants met in Valpovo, a small town in Slavonia and were able to share moments of work, cultural visits, ecological, rural and sea tourism and relaxation and exchanges for 5 days.
The different workshops allowed them to vote for the logo that would represent their project, the logo that symbolizes their travel agency and the logo that represents dropping out of school. Together, they discussed the skills expected for their professional future and all together talked about interpersonal skills to avoid any dropout;
They also talked about the jobs they could do one day and tried to imagine their future business. For this, they benefited from the advice of Igor Medic,
Department of Economy - Head of Office at City of Osijek and they made an oral presentation, imagining their future.Igor tried to make the students involved in their future.
The many visits and meetings and the guide Daniel allowed them to discover Croatia with its rural tourism, its magnificent cities of Zagreb, Osijek, its gastronomy, its legends and of course the pretty little town of Valpovo and its castle.
Magnificent photos, unique places and legends to discover in our “Travel agency” section.
A real cultural openness, a unique human experience and wonderful encounters for all! This European adventure, mentioned on Romanian television, will continue in Bulgaria in April 2022 thanks to funding from Erasmus+

OUR MEETING IN BULGARIA
Meeting in Targovishte, Bulgaria (11th April - 15th April 2022)
Another rich and unforgettable experience for all of us who, thanks to Erasmus + funding, had the opportunity to go to Bulgaria, this jewel of Eastern Europe, in the heart of Balkan Europe.
Going to Bulgaria was really an opportunity to discover a new culture, another alphabet ,a varied landscape of mountains, forests, lost valleys, fertile plains, lakes, full of traditions and rivers, not forgetting the beaches of the Black Sea, of course. !
It was also a great opportunity to bring Europe to life with the meeting of other students from the 5 partner countries of the "On the way to the future" project and to visit the Bulgarian high school, "PROFESIONALNA GIMNAZIYA PO IKONOMICHESKA INFORMATIKA "DZHON ATANASOV " in Targovishté, organizer of our meeting and activities.
Thank you to Yulyiana, our guide and teacher who offered us , with all her students, fantastic moments that allowed us to meet people, share moments of life and to work on common projects, sharing European values helping us to get out of our comfort zone and to have another vision of school and teachers.
We shared our life during our workshop " Who am I?" , we talked a lot in English and we discovered each of our region. You can discover each region in our Travel agency section.
This stay in Bulgaria was for all of us a total change of scenery.
We had the chance to discover the unique relief of the horseman of Madera, the charming town of Veliko Tarnovo, "the queen of Bulgarian towns" crossed by the Yantra river, the treasures of the Thracian civilization in Sofia, Targovishté, Varna, the "pearl of the black sea" but also the magnificent fortress of Tsarevets and finally, the museum of the Cyrillic alphabet.
A real journey through time that we really enjoyed. A concrete contact with another culture and another history, which made us want to know our own history better. We are ready to write our first name in Cyrillic from now on. What a funny experience!
The meeting of other European students from the 5 partner countries of the “On the way to the future” project allowed us to meet wonderful people and gave birth to European friendships that they now keep alive thanks to social networks.
A real wealth for the eyes but also to see the world with another eye and make it live differently and in complete serenity!
Today, we have new projects, new ideas for our future . We think about visitng Romania and we will do our best to find money to meet our Romanian friends in their country.
