School for Advanced Training: Public Policy Impact Assessment. Concepts, Methods, Applications

The school is part of the teaching activities of the project and is run in partnership between Manlio Rossi-Doria Centre for Economic and Social Research (Roma Tre University) and Sapienza University of Rome.

The school’s purpose is to provide the tools needed to assess the impact of government policies, in particular programs for territorial (cohesion policy), industrial, trade and development. The school is designed for an audience with an interest and engagement in this kind of policy evaluation such as government functionaries, administrators, private professionals, researchers or doctoral students. The objective is to provide participants with the skills and capability for overall policy assessment, studying techniques in close association and interdependence with the specific context of the policies analyzed.

The fourth edition of the School will be held online

  • from 13 to 17 September 2021 (Edition 4.1).

  • from 8 to 12 November 2021 (Edition 4.2).

The Program includes a pre-learning step and 5 days of lectures (concept and methods) and practical sessions (applications) addressing the evaluation of different industrial and territorial policies.

The inaugural lecture will be given by Raffaello Bronzini (Bank of Italy) and the conclusive lecture will be given by Eliana La Ferrara (Bocconi University).

The third edition of the School will be held online

  • From 6 to 10 July 2020 (Edition 3.1).

  • From 12 to 16 October 2020 (Edition 3.2).

The Program includes a pre-learning step and 5 days of lectures (concept and methods) and practical sessions (applications) addressing the evaluation of different industrial and territorial policies.

The inaugural lecture will be given by Raffaello Bronzini (Bank of Italy)
