This e-Twinning project is included in an Erasmus project with same title.

The partners Italy, Poland, Hungary, Portugal and Greece chose the topic of the environment as it is a very current, concrete and global topic in which young people have great interest, are eager to be

active and make their own contribution to save the planet. The project involves them in practical activities that will allow them to "learn by

doing". Through the activities, pupils will have to think about their responsibilities and consequences of their life styles on the environment.

They will compare the results with European partners so they will learn that climate change is a universal problem that can be be faced only through cooperation. Students will work in teams in cooperation not competition. They will find similarities with other countries and will propose solutions to common problems. Both teachers and students will experience more motivating and inclusive learning methodologies. 

This project aims at developing two main types of goals:

Short term goals: focusing on developing new knowledge, skills and competences in students related to the topics of

environment protection and climate change;

raising awreness of environmental problems, eco-friendly and sustainable behaviours;

Improving students key competences and raising of standars in curriculum;

improving English language and ICT competences; enhancing European citizenship;

developing critical thinking by practising problem solving;

improve social skills and the peer collaboration;

exchange of innovative and inclusive teaching methodologies;

Long term goals: streghten teachers profiles; improve the quality of

educational offer; promote inclusion; motivate learning; prevent early school leaving; envision new job profiles

across Europe;stimulate a European sense of belonging; 

We will use the Teacher bulletin to exchange ideas and proposals on a monthly basis.
