Student Beneficiaries
Student beneficiaries are provided with free classes on weekends and at times during the long school vacation from Basic 3 to Junior High School. Subjects covered in the classes include several subjects in the Ghanaian basic school education syllabus, interpersonal relationships, skills building, basic computing, and computer programming.
Student beneficiaries are also provided with learning materials and financial support to pay for school-related fees from Basic 3 to Senior High School 3.
In addition to receiving training in entrepreneurship and best parenting practices, parents of our student beneficiaries are also eligible to win grant that aims to provide them with the resources and financial stability they need to actively participate in their children's education.
Students who wish to be beneficiaries must meet the following criteria to be considered for admission:
Must be a public-school student who will be starting the first term of Basic 3 in the following academic term at the time of application or admission.
Be between the ages of 6 and 19 at the time of application or admission.
Must need financial assistance for schooling.
Must demonstrate academic excellence or willingness to learn.
Demonstrate commitment and a strong work ethic.
The admissions process will include:
Application submissions by parents of students.
Shortlisting of applicants for examination and interview.
Selection will be based on the interviews and examinations.
Learn a Trade Beneficiaries
Learn a Trade Beneficiaries are provided with free entrepreneurship training and are presented with the opportunity to win grants to either start a new trade/business or invest in their already existing trade/business.
Interested persons must meet the following criteria to be considered for admission to the Learn a Trade program:
Must be a senior high school graduate for not more than three years at the time of application.
Must be someone who cannot pursue post-secondary education due to significant financial and academic obstacles.
Must need financial assistance to learn a trade.
Must be committed to self-improvement and demonstrate strong work ethics.
The admissions process will include:
Application submissions by interested persons.
Shortlisting of applicants for interviews.
Selection will be based on the interviews and submitted applications.
